Full time Contract or Right to Hire Please NO 3rd Party Agencies: Job Title: Solutions Architect Location: Hybrid NY, NJ, CT Compensation: Up to $70/hr. Length of Contract: 12 months + Position Summary The Solutions Architect is responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the delivery of enterprise ETL and data integration solutions that support critical business and regulatory initiatives. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership and ownership of complex data programs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience architecting ETL solutions, leading small data engineering teams, and delivering complex, high-impact data programs in regulated or financial environments. This individual is expected to take charge when needed, drive decisions, and ensure high-quality, reliable data pipelines from source to consumption. Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture + Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise ETL and data integration solutions using Snowflake, Matillion and Fivetran + Review and interpret data and ETL requirements; partner with DBAs and Data Architects to validate or extend data models + Design source-to-target mappings, data models, and transformation logic to support business, risk, and reporting needs + Create and review DDL for new database objects, attributes, and structures as required + Establish standards and best practices for ETL design, data quality, security, and performance + Optimize and configure SnowFlake data environment through configuration, sizing and review and creation of views, dynamic tables and other database features as required ETL Development & Delivery + Design, develop, and optimize complex ETL workflows using Matillion ETL and API-based data pipelines + Create and oversee Technical design documentation + Establish secure connections between data sources and Snowflake using appropriate security protocols + Oversee data cleansing, transformation, validation, and enrichment processes + Design and implement robust data quality checks, error handling, and monitoring frameworks + Skilled in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative development + Ensure proper unit, system, and regression testing with full documentation in alignment with SDLC standards Team Leadership & Mentorship + Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews + Work with Project Manager to assign work, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of ETL initiatives + Act as a hands-on leader who can step in to solve complex technical problems when required + Promote knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement across the team Stakeholder Collaboration + Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions + Communicate technical concepts and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences + Serve as a trusted advisor on data integration strategy and capabilities Continuous Improvement + Research and evaluate new data integration and optimization techniques + Stay current with advancements in Snowflake, Matillion, and cloud data engineering best practices + Drive improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability of data pipelines Qualifications + 7+ years of experience in ETL, data engineering, and data integration, with a focus on architecture and design + Proven experience leading or mentoring a team + Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Matillion, and/or Fivetran + Extensive experience designing and building API-based data pipelines + Strong understanding of data modeling, source-to-target mapping, and data profiling + Experience working in regulated, financial, or banking environments preferred + Ability to take ownership of complex data programs and drive delivery independently + Experience supporting banking, risk management, or financial reporting platforms Education & Certifications + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or Banking preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer: RCM is an equal opportunity employer.
