**Job Title: Soldering Technician** **Job Description** Join our dynamic production team focused on manufacturing high-quality roof flashings, vents, and accessories. As a Soldering Technician, your primary responsibility will be soldering and assembling sheet metal components to precise specifications, ensuring durability and leak-proof performance for roofing systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform soldering on sheet metal components using torch or iron techniques. + Assemble and finish roof flashings, vents, and related products according to drawings and work orders. + Inspect joints for strength, appearance, and watertight integrity; rework as needed. + Maintain tools, soldering stations, and ensure proper temperature control for quality results. + Read and interpret shop drawings and templates to follow exact measurements. + Operate hand tools, shears, brakes, and other metal fabrication equipment safely. + Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety and PPE requirements. + Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines in a high-volume environment. **Essential Skills** + Foundational experience in labor-intensive roles, ideally within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately for cutting and fabricating sheet metal. + Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to operate tools and machinery. + English speaking skills with comfort in a Spanish-speaking environment. + Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks. + Willingness to learn new skills and assist in other departments. + Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards are met. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Soldering and/or sheet metal experience, fabrication, roof flashing. + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metalwork or welding is a plus. + 1+ year experience soldering sheet metal or similar fabrication work. + Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings and measurements. + Familiarity with roofing components or HVAC metalwork preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer career growth opportunities where you can learn, advance, and build a long-term future. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. Protective gear such as steel toe boots is required, which you need to provide.
