Soldering Technician
**Job Title: Soldering Technician** **Pay $26-32** **Job Description** As an Electronic Component Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the soldering and construction of medical devices. You will be responsible for reading, understanding, and following established procedures and product specifications while maintaining orderly and safe working conditions. Your duties will adhere to good manufacturing practices, ensuring the accuracy of Lot History Records during product manufacturing. **Responsibilities** + Perform soldering and assembly of small electronic components. + Conduct construction, testing, and inspection of medical devices. + Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies. + Work extensively under the microscope for 60-80% of the shift to perform soldering and inspection of components. + Train new employees in soldering practices and assembly practices. + Operate in a full cleanroom environment, adhering to gowning procedures and documentation. **Essential Skills** + Demonstrated hand dexterity and attention to detail. + Effective communication skills. + Proficiency in soldering and use of microscopes. + Ability to read and speak English fluently. + Comfort with standing for 6-8 hours per day. + Experience with inspection, cleanroom protocols, medical assembly, documentation writing, SMT, electronics, wiring, hand tools, J standard, IPC 610, thru-hole, hand soldering, and micro assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Cleanroom or medical assembly experience is a plus. + Manufacturing or experience requiring attention to detail and dexterity is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing medical device company that values its employees as family members rather than just numbers. The team is small, comprising about 30 people, and is rapidly expanding, providing excellent opportunities for growth. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
