Soldering Assembler
**Job Title: Soldering Assembler** **Job Description** This position involves assembling and soldering printed-circuit boards with precision and accuracy. **Responsibilities** + Receive, pull, and audit Hand Adds Kits. + Prepare parts using tools such as pliers, cutters, crimpers, calipers, Olamef trimmer, and other job-specific tools. + Cut wire according to specifications. + Identify and document components for the Prep department. + Mask boards per documentation using masking materials. + Stuff boards per documentation, ensuring correct positioning and alignment of parts. + Measure components of builds according to specifications. + Verify traveler information matches the product being produced. + Route boards to QC and Wave Stations. + Receive Kits and obtain documentation using Pro-tracker. + Read work orders, follow production drawings, and sample assemblies. + Respond to ECN, Deviations, and Travelers. + Demonstrate knowledge of SMT and Through-Hole Radial and Axial Leaded soldering techniques. + Apply and use solder and flux materials, understanding proper disposal methods. + Operate and maintain soldering and unsoldering equipment, including performing basic rework. + Possess lead and lead-free soldering skills. + Use basic mechanical tools such as screwdrivers and wire crimpers. + Operate MSD Equipment and PCB Baking Machine. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly and soldering techniques. + Experience with PCB assembly. + Knowledge of soldering SMT and through-hole components. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + High School diploma or GED. + At least 2 years of experience in PCB assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong listening skills. + Good sense of humor. **Why Work Here?** Employees work in a collaborative environment with a strong lean initiative, encouraging the sharing of ideas to enhance efficiency.
