Job Description

Join a leading Aerospace company specializing in cockpit security systems, lavatory equipment, flight controls, and interior/exterior hardware as an electro-mechanical assembler. You will be responsible for assembling and reworking electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies such as switches, syncros, potentiometer gear boxes, and circuit boxes.Utilize hand tools and light power tools such as drill press, hand grinder, and sanders.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Perform soldering and wiring to complete product assemblies.Conduct electromechanical sub-assembly, soldering, coil winding, and solenoid work.Notify lead of any shortages or inferior parts immediately.Produce quality work with inspection checks by Assembly Lead or Quality Control.Maintain good housekeeping and safety principles during work assignments.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in electromechanical assembly.Proficiency with hand tools such as Phillips/flat screwdrivers, wire strippers, nut drivers, wrenches, cutters, and pliers.Soldering electromechanical assembly experience.Blueprint reading skills.Minimum 7+ months experience in a similar role in aerospace.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssembler A requires at least 2+ years experience as an assembler in Aerospace.Assembler B requires 7+ months to 2 years experience as an electro-mechanical or mechanical assembler.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in an aerospace manufacturing setting with exposure to machine noises and fumes typical of a production environment. The position requires availability Monday through Friday, starting at 5am or 6am until 2:30pm, with potential overtime after shifts and some Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
