**Experienced Soldering and Electronics Technician** Job Description We are seeking a skilled electronics technician with extensive experience in assembly, troubleshooting, modification, and repair of PCBs, harnesses, and mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality operations and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities + Perform assembly, troubleshooting, modification, and repair of PCBs, harnesses, and mechanical assemblies. + Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation. + Recommend and help track corrective and preventive actions. + Follow and maintain company documentation standards and procedures. + Follow, maintain, and improve company quality processes. + Adhere to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and maintain ESD equipment. + Maintain equipment calibration. Essential Skills + IPC certifications in both J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610. + 5 years of technician experience required; 10 years preferred. + Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting and repair. + Ability to read, interpret, and redline bill of materials, drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. + Experience with point-to-point wiring, surface mount, and through-hole soldering of PCBs. + Ability to view color codes and place components on boards using a binocular microscope. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent. + Experience with aerospace electronics is a plus. + Knowledge and use of crimping tools, soldering iron, cutters/strippers, mechanical tools, volt-meter, continuity testers, and label maker. + Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds without assistance. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. Team members collaborate in a small team setting with a focus on quality and precision. Job Type & Location This position is based out of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
