**Job Title: Solderer/Brazer** **Job Description** Join our team as a Solderer/Brazer where you will be responsible for expertly soldering and brazing prefabricated parts. Your work will involve using natural gas and oxygen for brazing/soldering on copper and brass materials, performing pressure/leak testing, and assembling components with precision. **Responsibilities** + Perform 50% brazing and 50% soldering tasks. + Use both natural gas and oxygen for brazing/soldering. + Work on copper and brass materials. + Perform pressure/leak testing at 300psi nitrogen test. + Assemble, align, and clamp various sized copper pipes and valves onto coil or riser units for soldering/brazing. + Conduct regular equipment operation checks and report maintenance needs or defects. + Follow the 'Safety First' philosophy. + Maintain proper housekeeping and clean up the welding booth. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1 year+ experience in brazing/soldering. + Co-op or school knowledge counts as experience. + Ability to read drawings, diagrams, and schematics. + Ability to lift up to 35lbs. + Desire for a long-term/permanent opportunity. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Direct experience with Oxy-Acetylene Soldering/Brazing is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including extended health care, an extra health spending account, insurance coverage, and vacation time that increases with tenure.
