Our client, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, is seeking a Solder Trainer to join their team. As a Solder Trainer, you will be part of the Training and Development department supporting new and existing employees. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to quality, and a passion for teaching, which will align successfully with the organization's mission.
**Job Title:** Solder Trainer
**Location:** Lititz, PA
**Pay Range: $28.85/hour** - **$43.27/hour**
**Shift:** 6:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday; 6:00am - 2:30pm every other Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct training sessions for mechanical assembly and hand soldering processes.
+ Develop and implement corporate training sessions for new and existing employees.
+ Assess skills trained during classes and report findings to the Training Manager.
+ Maintain training materials and ensure compliance with corporate documentation.
+ Support the creation and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS).
**What's Needed?**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ 3 years of experience in a related field, with a preference for Certified IPC J-STD-001 (CIT).
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and soldering techniques.
+ Experience in training, teaching, or mentoring.
+ Ability to pass a visual acuity exam as required.
