**Solar Skilled Craftworker - Arizona - Yuma, Arizona (Job Number: 978557)** **Job Title:** Solar Skilled Craftworker **Department:** Construction / Field Operations **Reports To:** Superintendent or Foreman **Location:** Project-Based (Various U.S. Solar Sites) **Position Overview** The Solar Skilled Craftworker is responsible for performing a wide range of field construction activities to support the safe and efficient installation of solar energy systems. This position requires a strong technical understanding of solar construction processes, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Assemble, install, and secure solar racking, modules, and related equipment according to project drawings and specifications. + Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure quality and compliance with project standards. + Support site layout, wire management, torque verification, and other critical construction phases. + Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain workflow and productivity. + Adhere to all company, OSHA, and project-specific safety procedures and participate in daily safety meetings. + Collaborate with team members, foremen, and supervisors to achieve project milestones and maintain quality workmanship. + Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned to support project operations. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 1–2 years of construction or solar installation experience preferred. + Demonstrated proficiency with basic hand and power tools. + Ability to read and follow construction plans and instructions. + Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. + Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and stand or kneel for extended periods. + Reliable transportation to and from the job site. **Preferred Qualifications** + NCCER certification or equivalent trade credential. + OSHA 10 or 30 certification. + Experience working on utility-scale solar projects. + Familiarity with torque auditing, wire management, and racking systems. **Core Competencies** + Safety Awareness: Demonstrates consistent attention to safety and adherence to policies. + Teamwork: Collaborates effectively and maintains positive communication with all crew members. + Quality Focus: Strives for accuracy and precision in all tasks. + Adaptability: Adjusts to changing priorities and project needs with professionalism. + Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and dedicated to achieving project goals. **Company:** PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. **Job Posting:** Jan 26, 2026 **Closing Date:** Ongoing **Primary Location:** United States-Arizona-Yuma
