Solar Lead Conversion Specialist - 6mths Fixed Term

We’re looking for a proactive and engaging Lead Conversion Specialist to join our Home Solutions team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the vital first point of contact for residential customers beginning their journey into Solar.  You’ll use your curiosity, multitasking skills and attention to detail, while qualifying potential customers and supporting them on their journey to making a significant sustainable purchase.

Key responsibilities:

The role is a mix of lead qualification & opportunity processing

Engage and educate inbound leads mainly by phone but also email, text, and social channels in a clear accessible way.Complete needs assessments to understand customer goals and pain points.Address objections and support customers to make informed decisions.Keep CRM records up to date and accurate.Book and confirm appointments and ensure a smooth handover to Sales Consultants, supporting customers through the order‑processing stage.Manage Salesforce updates and coordinate closely with scheduling teams.Send deposit payment links and follow up on payment completion.Help nurture all leads and opportunities from first contact through to installation.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates

A strong customer-centric mindset and operating style.An interest, passion or experience in the New Zealand solar or electricity market is highly desirable.Some technical understanding of solar solutions or the ability to learn.Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and related software.Ability to get into the right level of detail.
