**Job Title: Solar Electrical Superintendent** 1 year project Pay range $60/hr **Job Description** The site superintendent will be responsible for the overall supervision of the construction of 100KW-250KW rooftop solar systems for a portfolio of 8 schools. This includes ensuring safety measures are in place, especially fall protection as required by OSHA, and leading a safety culture. The superintendent will coordinate and communicate with the owner regarding progress updates and oversee 2-3 subcontractors to ensure standards are met, providing ongoing QA/QC support. Daily safety and QA/QC reports must be provided to the project manager. **Responsibilities** + Supervise construction of rooftop solar systems. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and lead safety culture. + Communicate progress updates to the owner. + Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met. + Provide daily safety and QA/QC reports to the project manager. + Conduct daily meetings and manage reports. **Essential Skills** + Must have Experience in solar construction, specifically Utility scale of commercial solar. + Strong solar Electrical experience in Commercial or utility-scale electrical experience. + Ability to manage subcontractors and conduct performance evaluations. + Experience in QA/QC and construction management. + Proficiency in safety training and management. + Experience with Bluebeam software. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in commercial solar and DC electrical systems. + Approximately 5 year of experience in similar portfolios. **Work Environment** The role involves working on a construction site, managing multiple subcontractors, often outside in the heat. You will be working from an onsite trailer, completing paperwork, scheduling, and taking notes during safety meetings. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of San Bernardino, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00/hr.
