Job Title: Software Test Engineer Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Software Test Engineer supporting the GMD GWS program in an automation software testing role. We are looking for professionals at various levels, with a particular emphasis on Sr-level expertise. Responsibilities + Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing. + Understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to ensure successful system-level integration testing. + Develop testing criteria to satisfy requirements. + Utilize C++ development skills and scripting languages such as Python. + Employ GUI-based toolsets like Eggplant for test automation. + Collaborate using platforms like Gitlab or Bitbucket. + Engage in software development related to Test Automation. + Work in an Agile environment using tools like Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, or Jenkins. Essential Skills + U.S. Citizenship with an active US DoD Secret Security clearance. + Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university. + Minimum of 5+ years of related experience. + Experience in C++ development. + Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages. + Experience using GUI-based toolsets for test automation. + Knowledge of Gitlab or Bitbucket. + Ability to support an in-person, closed-area work environment 100% of the time. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Software Development/Computer Science disciplines. + Recent and strong understanding of the Python development language. + Experienced leadership in an Agile/Scrum environment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Security+ certification. Work Environment This role is based on-site at a state-of-the-art new facility, embedded at the prime location. You will work collaboratively with multiple teams, contributing to a massive and stable MDA program dedicated to national defense. The environment requires a 100% in-person, closed-area commitment, working in an Agile setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.
