Software Test Engineer
Job Title: Software Test Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Software Test Engineer, where you will play a critical role in the validation and testing of Over-the-Air (OTA) update systems. You will ensure the seamless download, installation, and reporting of OTA software updates, contributing significantly to the advancement of connected car technologies. Responsibilities + Execute test cases to verify OTA software download, installation, rollback, and update status reporting. + Assist in monitoring vehicle and server-side OTA status logs to identify and report update issues. + Document and communicate OTA validation results, anomalies, and test summaries to the engineering team. Essential Skills + Strong understanding of vehicle infotainment and connected car systems. + Familiarity with Over-the-Air (OTA) update processes, including navigation and media data updates. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for test result tracking. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
