Job Posting: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) **Location:** Sylmar, CA (100% Onsite) **Bill Rate:** $45-50/hour **Position Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)** to join our Agile development team. This is a **fully onsite** role in **Sylmar, CA** , and we are only considering candidates within a **one-hour commute** due to daily onsite requirements. As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web and backend applications used in global clinical trials. You’ll contribute to **both automated and manual testing efforts** in a **regulated medical device environment** . **About the Company:** We are a medical device company operating in a **regulated environment** , supporting both internal and external applications used in clinical trials worldwide. Our technology stack includes: + **.NET Core / .NET Framework** + **Angular** + **Oracle PL/SQL** + **Kubernetes** + **Azure DevOps (on-prem)** We follow Agile Scrum methodologies and emphasize collaboration, quality, and innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and maintain **automated UI and integration tests** using **Playwright with C#** + Execute **manual and exploratory testing** of Angular/.NET applications using tools such as **Postman** and **JMeter** + Write and manage **test cases** in accordance with regulatory standards + Create and run **SQL queries** (Oracle PL/SQL) for backend validation + Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testable acceptance criteria + Participate in **Agile Scrum ceremonies** (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) + Integrate automated tests into **CI/CD pipelines** via Azure DevOps + Report and track bugs with clear and concise documentation **Required Qualifications:** + 2–4 years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer + Strong proficiency in **C#** and object-oriented programming + Experience testing **Angular** front-end and **.NET** back-end applications + Hands-on experience with **Playwright** , **Selenium** , or similar browser automation tools + Knowledge of **SQL** ; experience with **Oracle PL/SQL** is a plus + Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** ; **Azure DevOps** preferred + Understanding of Agile methodologies + Strong problem-solving and communication skills + Comfortable writing or learning to write **manual test cases** **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with **performance testing tools** such as **JMeter** + Familiarity with **Kubernetes/Docker** + Background in **regulated environments** (medical device, pharma, healthcare) + Experience using **Azure DevOps Test Plans** or other test case management tools ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
