About the job:

BBVA Securities Inc. (BSI), the U.S. broker-dealer of the BBVA Group, is seeking a Technical-Functional Analyst with proven experience in the Broadridge ecosystem, including both Impact and Gloss platforms. These systems are widely used in global capital markets for post-trade processing, clearing, settlement, and custody operations in broker-dealer industry.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of functional knowledge in capital markets operations and technical expertise, allowing them to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of Broadridge solutions across different business lines.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main liaison between business teams (Operations, Technology) and IT teams, ensuring proper translation of business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Analyze and document functional and technical requirements related to Broadridge Impact, Gloss, and other modules within the Broadridge ecosystem.

Configure systems, deploy new functionalities, and support enhancements to existing modules across both platforms.

Lead and execute functional testing (UAT), data validation, and contribute to migration and deployment processes.

Coordinate with Broadridge and third-party vendors to resolve issues, manage platform upgrades, and implement system enhancements.

Maintain and update documentation related to business processes, system parameters, configuration records, and user guides.

Contribute to regulatory and operational efficiency initiatives leveraging Broadridge systems.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience managing complex transformation or platform delivery programs in broker-dealers or regulated financial institutions.

Knowledge: Proven experience with Broadridge Impact and/or Gloss, including configuration, support, or implementation. Deep understanding of financial products including: U.S. Treasuries, corporate bond repos, securities lending and cleared swaps. Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks and capital requirements.

Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and corporate clients.

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or relevant banking certifications will be appreciated.

Language: English Speaker, desirable Spanish as a second language.

Skills

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with strong organizational and communication skills tailored to a corporate banking environment.

Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis tools; ability to navigate complex system architectures

Identify opportunities for process improvement or organizational/job design and design future state processes gaining input and buy-in from multiple stakeholders.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
