We are seeking either a Software I&T Engineer (T02) or a Principal Software I&T Engineer (T03) to join our talented team. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA, and offers domestic and international travel opportunities.
As a software integration & test engineer on this team, you will have the opportunity to test software that is part of a large, complex code base to ensure its capabilities, documented in requirements, are working as the customer expects. You will take the testing through the full life-cycle to include writing test procedures, preparing for peer reviews, performing dry runs and preparing for customer milestones. You will have the privilege of direct customer interface as you prepare for and perform test readiness reviews and requirements sell-off. You will have a direct role in ensuring delivery of a quality product and customer satisfaction. The environment is on Linux, and the test scripts are created and edited in Perl & Python. In addition, this test organization includes a transition to a web-based environment using Agile Principles and DevSecOps automated testing methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Software I&T Engineer (T02): 2 Years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in STEM; 0 Years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEMPrincipal Software I&T Engineer (T03): 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhDActive TS/SCI required at the time of applicationWorking knowledge of software integration and test principles and processesAbility to create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reportsAbility to conduct testing, deliver test data/results, and assist the Government at the conclusion of each test phaseExperience with scripting languages: Python, PerlKnowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systemAbility to travel 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications:
