**Software Engineering Senior Advisor** **-** **Data** **Architect**
About the Team
Our Advanced Analytics and Experience Engineering team is driving the next generation of data strategy, building reusable data products and scalable solutions that empower decision-making across the company. We work cross-functionally to deliver robust, future-ready data architectures that support both immediate business needs and long-term innovation.
Position Overview
We are seeking an expert Data Modeler at the Senior Advisor level to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data models and reusable data products. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring that data schemas are optimized for both short-term agility and long-term scalability. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data modeling, data architecture, and the creation of data assets that can be leveraged across multiple business domains.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Architect and design enterprise data models to support analytics, AI, and operational use cases.
• Define and drive data strategy, including data lifecycle management, metadata standards, lineage, and stewardship practices.
• Develop reusable data products and assets that can be leveraged across the organization.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Establish and promote data modeling best practices, standards, and governance.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data modeling tools and technologies.
• Ensure data models support both current business needs and future growth.
• Mentor and guide junior data modelers and data engineers.
Qualifications
**Required** **Experience &** **Skills** **:**
• 10+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related roles.
• Proven expertise in designing relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data models.
• Hands-on expertise with **Databricks** , **Delta Lake** , **Apache Spark** , and **SQL** .
• Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Power Designer, dbt, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data platforms.
• Ability to model data schemas for both short-term and long-term requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration patterns.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
**Preferred** **Experience** **& Skills** **:**
• Overall experience of 13 to 18 yrs preferred Data engineering.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance.
• Knowledge of data virtualization, API-driven data access, and microservices architectures.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or related industries is a plus.
**Location & Hours of Work**
(Hyderabad, Hybrid model)
