The Opportunity 

As an Intelligent Automation Senior Engineer, you will be combining technical skills on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop) and/or Appian with your business acumen and curiosity, you will craft automation solutions that enable digital transformation within Takeda. You will consult/embed with business teams to develop business productivity and automation solutions. 

 

Responsibilities 

A detailed professional who knows how intelligent automation supports client business needs. 

You will lead and craft Automation solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge with colleagues all over the globe.  

You have a strong sense of logical process, and can translate business requirements into technical steps, as well as make recommendations for process improvement to the benefit of your clients. 

You will be the liaison between clients, colleagues, and business partners in delivering solutions. 

You are an excellent communicator with strong client management skills, and a real passion for technology. 

You enjoy partnering with your clients to develop and lead a technology plan supported by automation, and you have experience working as a consultant. 

Responsible for mentoring and reviewing deliverables of more junior team members. 

Collaborate with agile team members to craft clear user stories and continuously deliver product increments. 

Estimate work based on user stories and functional requirements or wireframes.  

 

Skills and Qualifications 

Required 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience. 

5+ years of relevant professional experience in developing on Microsoft Power Platform. 

Expert experience with building automations using Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop. 

Hands-on experience in API and back-end development with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript. 

Experience building solutions on Appian platform is a plus! 

Experience in stakeholder relationship management. Influential in orchestrating key stakeholders and product teams to turn product vision into reality. 

Understanding of DevOps concepts and exposure to topics like version control, automated deployments, backlog tracking etc.  

Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge. 

Extensive experience in design or in implementing solutions or products and preferable experienced in quality improvement. 

Understand design thinking and can explain and convince stakeholders. 

Work with virtual/agile teams in different locations, aligning and adapting different work, culture, and communication styles. User experience with Jira and Confluence. 

Adept at analyzing complex technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. Proficient in debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting mobile/web applications. 

Proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication is a must.
