Software Engineering Lead Analyst - Go Lang
**Position Overview** We are seeking a **Lead Software Engineer** with deep expertise in **Go (Golang)** and **cloud-native technologies** to architect, develop, and modernize enterprise-scale applications. This role blends hands-on development with technical leadership, guiding Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions within a healthcare environment. **Responsibilities** + Lead the design and development of backend services using Go and a microservices architecture. + Architect and implement solutions on AWS (preferred), leveraging services such as Lambda, Glue, Kubernetes, and container orchestration, along with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL. + Drive technical discussions, mentor engineers, and uphold best practices for coding standards and quality. + Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, influencing backlog prioritization and sprint planning. + Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines; manage version control using GitHub. + Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance requirements and security best practices. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make architecture decisions and optimize system performance. + Stay ahead of emerging cloud-native technologies, tools, and industry best practices. **Qualifications** **Required Skills:** + Advanced proficiency in **Go (Golang)** and backend development. + Hands-on experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including serverless and containerized deployments. + Strong knowledge of **microservices architecture** , **Kubernetes** , and **API development** . + Proven experience in **Agile delivery frameworks** (Scrum or SAFe). + Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with **CI/CD tools** and **Infrastructure as Code** (Terraform or CloudFormation). + Familiarity with healthcare domain standards and regulatory compliance. **Required Experience & Education:** + 5–8 years of software engineering experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. + Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business discipline, or equivalent professional experience. **About Evernorth Health Services** Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
