Software Engineer - SRE, Terraform, Kubernetes

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer


In this role, you will:

Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment effortsIdentify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environmentDesign, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domainsPresent recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreementsExercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirementsProvide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering1+ years of experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm1+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration1+ years of experience with Continuous Improvement/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD1+ years of experience with API Gateway concepts such as OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices1+ years of experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK1+ years of experience in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Apigee Hybrid including installation, configuration, and managementExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/ Openshift(OCP) /Azure and Identity & Access Management (IAM)Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as Flux or ArgoCDKnowledge of service mesh technologies such as IstioApigee certification or relevant cloud certifications such as GCP or Kubernetes

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$37.02 - $69.71
