This is a summer internship running June - August onsite in San Jose
Opportunity Overview
As a Software Engineering & Project Management Intern/Co-op, you will contribute to real product development programs spanning software feature implementation, data analysis, dashboard creation, hardware interaction, and program coordination. You will work closely with Software Engineers to integrate development cycles to the PMO tracking tools.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design and implement software features for Nextest memory test systems
+ Support PMO Management with developing Software tools to support resource planning, scheduling, tracking and financial analysis
+ Develop internal tools for automation, data processing, and diagnostics
+ Comply with Software development processes and standard practices

+ Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields (Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields)
+ GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or better
+ Must have completed a minimum of 2 years coursework
+ Completed courses on Analog and Digital circuit fundamentals
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (automation and scripting)
+ Programming experience in C++, C#, Java, .NET or Python
+ Familiarity with use of AI generation/coding tools
+ Understanding of object‑oriented design and basic algorithms
+ Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
+ Must be local to San Jose and work onsite 3+ days per week

Compensation:
The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
