Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to join an enterprise AAA game company hybrid out of Vancouver BC on a permanent basis. The Infrastructure & Engineering organization provides the essential platforms and infrastructure hosting solutions that power live services. Their charter is to make games and services accessible to all players at any time and from anywhere. They aim to help developers experiment and build new games quickly with infrastructure services on demand and workflows that promote rapid development. As a Software Engineer, your role encompasses the entire life cycle of a product, from gathering requirements to writing medium- to large-scale microservices, to deploying and supporting the application. Reporting to Sr. Manager, you will manage a centralized Service Catalog that streamlines infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, and service lifecycle management. Skills and Requirements 1+ years of experience in a software engineering role Proficiency in front-end technologies such as: React, Angular, Typescript, Node.js and/or Express Proficiency in back-end technologies such as: Golang and/or Node.js Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure (AWS preferred) Some understanding of how web-related services work, including load balancers, high availability solutions, web servers, databases, and caching daemons Experience building, deploying, running, and supporting highly available, high-scale, secure infrastructure and distributed applications in a cloud service with Kubernetes Experience with CI/CD tools, including ArgoCD and GitLab AI Ops experience (ex. finding past incidents, root cause analytics, alterative responses etc.)
