DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Associate/Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Associate/Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Developing web applications on ReactJs; Frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript and Jquery; Building NodeJS applications; and developing software or a Microservices environment that is deployed as a REST API. This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills: Spring Boot; Spring; Spring Batch; Microservices; Kafka; Containers; Hibernate; Swagger; Skaffold; Developing GraphQL queries to supply content to different applications; Building and deploying tasks using Jules and Spinnaker; Store management in React through REDUX; Building scalable Spark data pipelines leveraging scheduler/executor framework; Developing and automating large-scale, high-performance data processing systems to drive and improve product experience; React version 18; Node 18; NPM 10; Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); Agile SDLC; Java; Typescript; Bootstrap; REST; GIT; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; User Acceptance Testing; and Cypress Automation Testing tool; Containerization including Docker and Kubernetes; Infrastructure-as-code including Terraform and CloudFormation; Cloud native experience including AWS S3, EKS, ECS, SQS, Lambda, Terraform, Code Deploy and PCF; Application security best practices and implementing them in cloud environments; and building applications utilizing JSON and XML formatted data files/service payloads for data transfer.
