About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment effortsIdentify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environmentDesign, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domainsPresent recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreementsExercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirementsProvide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholdersHandling all production support escalations and EACO calls during India day hours

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationJob Expectations:Core skills – Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch), Spring Boot, Web Services (REST, SOAP etc.), Kafka (streaming technologies), integration technologies, Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF), Microservices & knowledge on MongoDB database.Minimum 2 years of React ExperienceStrong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications, Design PatternsExperience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).Hands on Experience in using BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber, karate etc.)Product & Design Knowledge - Experience with Product Development, Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably in design/development of customer facing large enterprise applications)Experience in Consumer Banking or any complex middleware applicationsAPI - driven development - Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON.Knowledge of Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best PracticesHands on experience in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA tool.Unit Testing (JUnit preferred)/ TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and deployment (GitHub Actions, Harness)Knowledge with GenAI toolsGood business communication skills in EnglishSystem Knowledge & AnalysisProblem solving & critical thinking
