WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Intern Software Engineer will have responsibility for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications in a for-profit organization utilizing Microsoft technologies. As an intern you will be working on enhancing and maintaining an authoring, publishing and delivery applications that allows content creators to create products such as e-books, tutorials and simulations.

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Develop and support enhancements and new functionality for the ATI Nursing platform using cutting edge technology, including Angular, .Net Core, EF Core, C# .Net 6.0, MVC, WebAPI, JSON, SQL, Kubernetes and Docker. Work closely with Technical Product Owners, Technical Product Managers, Business Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects. Capable of working collaboratively with team members on different teams and in different locations. Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting as needed to support production issues. Be willing to support deployments outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation. Actively participate in all relevant agile ceremonies for each project iteration.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field Exposed to the concepts of an Agile based development methodology or similar formal methodologies are required Knowledge through coursework of the following programming languages: MS C#, JavaScript, MVC, SQL, HTML5, CSS 3.0, and experience with a MVVM framework (e.g. Angular) preferred Demonstrated organizational and teamwork skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to participate in collaborative development projects Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to translate a business scenario into a technical solution Excellent verbal and written communication skills
