As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector - Enterprise Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute testing scenarios that provide coverage of business functionsPartner with key stakeholders to identify the solutions that meet their needs,Perform triage and analysis of failures in complex multi-system environments, Develop automation frameworks performing functional and performance testing of API Services,Work closely with product management, business analyst, and development resources throughout delivery of solutions,Collaborate cross functionality with infrastructure, support, and other software engineering teams,Collaborate with business users and technology partners at all levels
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceProficient in coding in one or more languages experience, such as, Java or Golang and testing framework / plugin tools like REST Assured, Cucumber, Serenity, Selenium Web Driver, Gherkin, Jmeter, blazemeterExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Working knowledge of build tools like maven, ant, gradleknowledge on databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, DB2.Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.Passionate about building an innovative culture.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with RESTful Web ServicesExposure to cloud technologiesExperience with SOAP UI and Postman
