Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceProficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, and .NetProficient knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline (e.g., Cloud, artificial intelligence, Android, etc.)Experience in observability such as white and black box monitoring, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and othersExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or TerraformFamiliarity with container and container orchestration such as ECS, Kubernetes, and DockerFamiliarity with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issuesAbility to contribute to large and collaborative teams by presenting information in a logical and timely manner with compelling language and limited supervisionAbility to proactively recognize road blocks and demonstrates interest in learning technology that facilitates innovation
