As a Software Engineer III-ServiceNow at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector-Infrastructure Platforms - Specialty Platforms & Services team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way on the ServiceNow platform. You are responsible for implementing technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives leveraging ServiceNow. The ServiceNow Software Engineer must align with the enterprise architects, product owners, and business partners for technical designs and technical implementation to ensure use cases are met in the most effective manner for the underlying ServiceNow platform. We are looking for creative problem solvers that can analyze business challenges, solution, and pro-actively make recommendations that favor leveraging out of box functionality over customization.

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Experience in ServiceNow configuration & administration with strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and SaaS model with relevance to ServiceNow integration solutions. Experience leveraging ServiceNow codeless technologies – Flow Designer and Integration HubExperience with CMDB, and integration with other external toolsExperience with Service Portal, Request Catalog and Automations across the ServiceNow platformUnderstanding of working with Web technologies such as SOAP, JSON, XML and Web ServicesHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
