As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectResponsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions. Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experienceExperience writing Apex classes and triggers.Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design SystemExperience writing SOQL for handling dataKnowledge of building REST APIs using Java SpringBootStrong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users.Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.Experience using Git or other version control software.Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Previous development experience in Salesforce.Platform Developer 1 Certification.Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL/SOQL, Java/C++/OOP.Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
