Software engineer III (Python Developer)

Your Team’s Impact

We’re looking for a passionate software engineer, for a GenAI innovation product. We want a motivated rigorous software developer, a problem solver, with good communication skills, but also someone who is willing to grow and learn.

Your past experience matters too. Ideally you have knowledge on building complex systems and delivering working software in a collaborative and agile setting.
You will be joining a team working mainly on AI/ML projects.

The team focuses on innovation projects that can reinvent the way financial data is produced. With the recent progress in GenAI, the way we interact with data and documents can be reimagined and augmented in many ways.

What You’ll Do

Write clean, efficient and well-documented code using industry best practices

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming,

and software engineering principles

Ensuring that deployed products are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle

Understand and keep up to date with GenAI technology advances

Advocates for and implements testing best practices with the team, makes sure project is effectively

tested

Demonstrates good judgment on when to write unit tests vs. integration tests vs. end-to-end tests

Takes ownership of code and advocates for health of the project

Ability to break apart large, abstract tasks into smaller deliverables

Identifies risks before code review (e.g., at refinement or technical design discussion)

Illustrates the value of addressing or accepting technical debt

Provides feedback on how code changes fit into the product architecture

Identifies application-level bottlenecks

Makes suggestions to improve the code review process

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor or Engineering degree required

Should have good English fluency

Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

3+ Years of experience in software development using Python

Strong proficiency in Python and should have experience on FastAPI.

Database and SQL general knowledge (PostGres/Sql)

Experience or knowledge of CI/CD concepts

Basic knowledge on GenAI, NLP and text processing ​

Desired Skills

Dockerfile,

AWS experience

Able to work in a team of ML engineers and software engineers
