As a Software Engineer III in the Capital Team, you will play a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining critical software applications using Python. Job Responsibilities:
Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build innovative applicationsCreate secure, high-quality production code and maintain efficient algorithmsProduce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are metGather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvementIdentify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive enhancements in coding hygiene and system architectureContribute to software engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologiesAdd to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Proficient in object-oriented programming, preferably PythonHands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilitySkilled in coding in one or more programming languagesExperience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large environments using modern programming and database querying languagesKnowledge of the Software Development Life CycleUnderstanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and securityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Experience with Databricks or AWS S3Familiarity with Duck DB, PyArrow, or IbisExposure to cloud technologies or distributed computing
