What you'll do...

As a Software Engineer III on the International Digital Experiences team, you’ll help shape how customers across Mexico, Chile, and Canada shop online.

You’ll join a collaborative team of engineers focused on building performant, scalable, and user-friendly applications using React, Node.js, GraphQL, and modern web technologies. You'll contribute to solutions powering some of the largest international eCommerce platforms in the world.

About Team:
Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few.

What you'll do:

Build and enhance reusable UI components in React with modular CSSManage client-side state using Redux, React Query, or Apollo ClientDevelop and integrate backend APIs using Node.js and GraphQL, including federated schemasOwn feature development end-to-end, from technical design through cloud deploymentCollaborate with product, design, and UX teams to deliver customer-first experiencesDrive performance optimizations and architectural improvementsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of engineering excellenceWork in an agile, iterative development process alongside globally distributed teams

What you'll bring:

3+ years of experience in object-oriented software development1+ years of experience building single-page applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, etc.)Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.jsExperience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpointsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Bonus Points For:

Experience with Nx monorepo or server-side renderingFamiliarity with cloud deployment (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and observability tools

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
