Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains to support the firm's business goals across various business functions.

Job responsibilities

 

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceExperience in building applications on OLAP cube technology like IBM TM1/Planning Analytics,  or any other similar cubing platform for large corporationsExtensive hands-on experience on cube platform components (web and excel ) for designing reports and dashboards.Experience in development of complex rules and workflows in cubes including scripting knowledge UNIX Shell or similar.Experience in automated data sourcing from relational databases , cloud data lakes (S3, Databricks, Snowflake etc. )Knowledge of one or more programming language(s) like Python or Unix shell scripting or other language  Experience in documenting functional and technical design.Good knowledge of Finance modules like General Ledger, Planning & Analysis (P&A) and regulatory reporting Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

Experience developing hybrid business solutions that are flexible, scalable and leverage wide range of technologies. Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
