As a Software Engineer III - Cloud Platform Engineer within JPMorgan Chase with the Infrastructure Platforms team  in our Technology division, you design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality cloud solutions. You collaborate with technologists worldwide, driving technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations.

 

Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and operate solutions for cloud computing platforms with security, auditability, and observabilityDefine and build value-add services using cloud-native principlesCreate technical designs for development and integration of new software and system technologiesParticipate in performance analysis, service capacity planning, and demand forecastingDrive technical innovation and efficiency through developing tools and automationResearch and evaluate alternate solutions to adopt cutting-edge technologiesAdd to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience

Demonstrates strong knowledge of development experience building and delivering large systems

Expert proficiency in at least one programming language such as GolangExperience in writing automated tests using Python or shell scriptingHands-on experience in system and networking conceptsExperience with Kubernetes, git, and CI/CD tools such as JenkinsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems at scale
