As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, Commerce Payments division, you will play a crucial role in an agile team, focusing on the design and delivery of innovative technology products that prioritize security, stability, and scalability. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains and business functions to support and promote the firm's strategic objectives.

Job responsibilities:

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Hands On experience in TerraformHand on experience in using AWS Fargate, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS Route53, AWS Lamda, AWS Aurora RDS Proficiency in Java/J2EE and REST APIs, Web Services and experience in building event-driven Micro Services and Kafka streaming.Experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot and AWS Services in public cloud infrastructure.Experience in developing standard unit testing frameworks, automated functional tests, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and SecurityWorking proficiency in developmental toolsets like GIT/BitBucket, JIRA, MavenDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

 Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience in PERF testing and turning as well as shift left practices like component testing, contract testing, mutation testing.Exposure to cloud technologies (S3, Terraform, PostgreSQL DB)
