What you'll do...

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart-International customers, in the areas of supply chain management & Customer experience.

About Team:

Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.

What you'll do:

You are responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart-International customers, in the areas of supply chain management & Customer experience.You are expected to be more intellectually curious engineer who is passionate about domain/technology in general. 

What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline2-6 years of hands-on related DevOps/SRE experienceCan chair COE/RCA meetings for every major incidentsExperience in Microsoft Azure cloud platform preferred (AWS/GCP is also OK)Expertise in tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible/Chef/Puppet etcStrong knowledge on Azure Dev-Ops, GIT, Pipelines and Azure Resource Manager (ARM)Strong experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Python/Java/ RubyStrong working experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh like Istio, etcDemonstrated knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools automationStrong Experience with networking concepts and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH, Firewall, VPN, Routing and Load Balancing)Strong Experience with Linux and open source softwareExperience with Monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Products like ELK/Splunk etcExperience with code-quality and automated testing (Sonar, JUnit, Selenium or similar)Experience with API standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)Experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesGood understanding of agile developmentStrong written and verbal communication skills
