Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089
Duties: Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance. Create and enhance medium sized applications, services, or significant set of components within a large application. Perform data modeling and schema design to support efficient data storage and retrieval. Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive data - Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and incorporate them into the existing infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Skills required: Experience designing and building REST and SOAP based web services using Java. Experience planning, executing, and successfully completing a project within specified constraints. Experience building products with a focus on testability using Mockito and JUnit. Experience creating design documents and implementing the design. Experience creating API contracts before implementing business feature functionality. Experience with on-call support for production issues. Experience working with Azure Databases blob and SQL for CRUD operations. Experience integrating applications with third party APIs using Java Spring Boot framework. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
