Job Description Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business needs and provide a seamless user experience.

About the Team

The platforms you build will be used for creating OMNI pricing platform for Walmart, across both eCommerce & store channels & across multiple countries with each of them being a multi-billion dollar business for Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that span across multiple countries and a large number of users, and data. This team enables our stores and eCommerce operations across the world. The platforms that we build are used in most of the markets where Walmart has its presence (US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Central America). The pricing platform in Walmart focuses on setting EDLP for stores & least price for the eCommerce channel among all the competitors.

What you'll do:

Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web and mobile applicationsBuild user-friendly interfaces and ensure responsive designDevelop server-side logic and RESTful APIs for seamless integrationImplement database schemas and optimize queries for performanceCreate interactive and dynamic user interfaces using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.jsEnsure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speedWork closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather and implement requirementsParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedbackWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code qualityTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systemsAutomate deployment processes and monitor production environmentsUse CI/CD tools to streamline development workflowsKeep up with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trendsAdvocate for and implement best practices in coding, architecture, and security

What you'll bring:

B. Tech. / B. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. in Computer Science or relevant discipline with 3+ years industry experienceProficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)Programming language: Java, Python, Kotlin, ScalaProficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.jsStrong knowledge and hands-on experience with back-end technologies: Kotlin, Node.js, Java, PythonProficiency in database systems: SQL (AzureSql, Oracle) and NoSQL (Cassandra, CosmosDB)Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocketsFamiliarity with version control tools like GitHands-on experience with cloud platforms: Azure, GCPFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and toolsFamiliarity with test driven development using Junit & cucumber frameworkFamiliarity with SpringBoot frameworkExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software

Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
