Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Build well performing sophisticated web applications and user-facing features. Leverage open source frameworks such as ReactJS, Node.js, and Bootstrap to build front end applications that are reusable and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of object-oriented JavaScript. Assess system designs and technical risks, identify areas of improvement, and suggest and implement solutions. Prepare technical implementation and project feasibility documents. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Troubleshoot business and production software issues and provide robust technical solutions to resolve problems. Analyze, design, and modify software projects and/or products incorporating HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX as well as other Web 2.0 techniques.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Skills required: Experience developing web application User Interface (UI) with ReactJS. Experience implementing front-end unit test using Jest and Enzyme. Experience implementing front-end logic defining the behavior of web application elements using JavaScript. Experience designing and implementing REST API services using Node.js. Experience designing and developing responsive web applications with CSS3. Experience designing non-relational database systems using MongoDB. Experience converting web application User Interface (UI) using JSP and jQuery to convert to ReactJS. Experience deploying and monitoring services utilizing CI/CD solution Jenkins. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
