How You’ll Make an Impact

Design and implement new software functionality using best practices and approved code patterns with limited oversightApply object-oriented principles and computer science fundamentals to deliver high-quality, maintainable codeParticipate in Agile and Scrum processes by engaging in rituals and meeting project timelinesCreate and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and resolve defects to ensure software reliability and complianceCollaborate with technical team members to analyze and solve complex problems while responding to customer inquiries about software behaviorDevelop and maintain accurate technical documentation to support ongoing system improvementsEnsure all code contributions adhere to legal, regulatory and security requirements

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

1+ years of experience in database management systems1+ years of experience in coding, testing and designing software1+ years of experience with software development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications - Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with database management systems, specifically Oracle and PL/SQL3+ years hands-on coding, testing and designing software using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Spring Boot and GitLab3+ years hands-on with modern software development methodologies

Skills

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding EnglishDemonstrated knowledge of at least one major programming language or tool, including syntax, functions and object-oriented patternsUnderstanding of environments, container runtimes, docker images, cloud native app development, design patterns and frameworksFamiliarity with dependent systems such as APIs, clients, data stores and CI/CD pipelinesAbility to analyze moderately complex problems and determine appropriate solutions within established proceduresCapable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks and working with minimal supervisionExperience showcasing project or feature-level work to technical teamsBasic negotiation skills

The base pay for this position generally is between $70,900.00 and $139,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
