As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Proprietary Wallets & Lending organization, you will be part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, designing, and delivering the software components of the firm's cutting-edge technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. In your role as an emerging member of the software engineering team, you will execute software solutions by designing, developing, and technically troubleshooting various components within a technical product, application, or system, while acquiring the skills and experience necessary for growth in your position.

Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshootingWrites secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidanceDesigns, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implicationsApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automationApplies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexityGathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application developmentLearns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systemsAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on iOS and Android application development concepts and 2+ years applied experience.Extensive experience of using iOS development tools:- Xcode, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine and other iOS frameworks.Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficient in coding in one or more languagesExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and SecurityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with modern front-end technologiesPreferred Experience with Android development tools:- Android Studio, Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, LiveData , all mobile UI fundamentals, from layout to animations, and Restful API integration is expectedExposure to network API integration
