As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Bank - Connected Commerce Technology team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceHands on experience with IBM ODM (Operational Decision Manager) business rules programming (i.e. IBM ODM / JRULES / Decision Center / RES or Any other Rules Management SystemExperience with any BRMS skills , such as DROOLS, BLAZE, FICOExposure in cloud technologiesExperience in Automation and modernization, such as CICD, Jules , JenkinsDemonstrable ability to code in one or more languages, and application development in Java or other program languagesExperience with rules and conventions in Java, such as Syntax Rules, Structure Rules, Access Modifiers, Object-Oriented Principles, Exception Handling, and Comments.Experience to Agile development methodologyStrong attention to detail and ability to problem solveHands on experience in issue management and resolutionStrong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specificationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Credit card, Auto Finance and Risk Management experience Familiarity with other BRMS tools is a plusExposure to cloud technologies
