Software Engineer II - Active Directory Engineering

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Identity & Access Management team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Job responsibilities

Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesServes as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focusActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software  Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceWorking proficiency and technical knowledge on Microsoft Windows Active Directory and other related identity productsHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s): PowerShell / Desired State Configuration (DSC), Terraform, Python and / or AnsibleAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with public cloud services such as AWS Managed Active Directory, Google Cloud eco-system including GCP, (e.g, Google Cloud Identity)Working understanding of integrating disconnected cloud services via identity federation. Both from workforce and workload perspectives.Experience working with two or more from the following: Windows environments, networking, large scale software development and security software development
