The individual in this position plays a key role in helping us continue modernizing and maturing our data and integration services with a focus on cloud enablement and continuous delivery. This **Software Engineer** will also play a part in exploring artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to streamline our processes and improve our solutions. We welcome experience and skills from various backgrounds to enrich our ability to deliver robust and efficient solutions. **The Software Engineer will:** + Participate in the design, development, and automated testing of data and integration services using technologies like Apigee Hybrid, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Python, and PySpark. + Explore ways to effectively and appropriately incorporate artificial intelligence to improve our processes and solutions. + Provide support for the solutions we deliver, including root cause analysis and periodic on-call duties. + Work on a cross-functional SAFe Agile team. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or related field, and a minimum of 6+ years directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements + Expertise in data-as-a-service and API management concepts and how to use these with different types of integration technologies. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, WSDL. + Experience with integration middleware solutions (ESBs, API gateways, messaging platforms, etc.). Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and Apigee Hybrid API gateway is preferred. + Working knowledge of Java, Python and Kafka. + Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, build/deploy automation, Git, Azure DevOps and Digital.ai Release / Digital.ai Deploy preferred. Experience with containers is a plus. + Experience with API security policies, OAuth, JWT, JWE, and HMAC, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) concepts and tools. + Experience working on Agile teams. + Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) is a plus. **Visa Sponsorship:** This position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa).
