Job Description **Who will you be working with? ** In this role you will work with a global team. **How will you make a difference?  ** The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom technology solutions for the Supply Chain and Sourcing organizations of Wabtec Transportation. As part of this role the Software Engineer would be working closely with the Functional and Technical leads across various applications, COE and Infrastructure teams to deliver right business outcomes. **What do we want to know about you?** + Software Development experience. + Knowledge of Supply Chain and Sourcing processes + Knowledge of Web technologies, latest front-end technologies like Angular JS, HTML 5.0, JQuery, java scripts, CSS, Bootstrap, Node JS, Rally + Desired Characteristics + Strong analytical and Influencing skills + Excellent oral and written communication skills in English + High energy, Customer Passion and attention to detail + Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability + Ability to explore open-source libraries, eager to learn new technologies. + Strong desire to experiment, use new tools and techniques + Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and having the ability to navigate ambiguous situations + Good interpersonal communication skills. **What will your typical day look like?** + Software design, development, and maintenance of applications + Primary Skills: Development using Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring boot, Microservices, Restful Webservices, PostgreSQL + Secondary Skills: UI related technologies like Angular, AngularJS, HTML 5, java script, JQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, Node JS. + Developing and executing unit / integration test cases and performing white box testing + Understanding of best coding practices, adhere to all the software architectural and Security standards + Assist, guide and troubleshoot with the Support team to resolve customer issues of technical nature + Work with teams through Agile development practices + Participate with Functional discussions to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meets the needs + Participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders + Experience on Cloud, AWS is added advantage. + Qualifications / Requirements + Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science **Benefícios:** Na Wabtec, pessoas estão em primeiro lugar.
