Position Details
Job Description
Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) at Chubb is focussed at delivering services across multiple disciplines at Chubb. Cloud Engineering is one of the key services that are responsible for delivering cloud-based services on-prem as well as off prem. As part of the continued transformation, Chubb is increasing the pace of application transformation into containers and cloud adoption.
As such we are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer who can be part of this exciting journey at Chubb. As an experienced, hands-on cloud engineer, you will be responsible for both Infrastructure automation and container platform adoption at Chubb. A successful candidate would have hands-on experience of container platforms (Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure), and experience with software development and DevOps enablement through automation and Infrastructure as code.
Successful candidate will also have opportunity to build and innovate solutions around various Infrastructure problems right from developer experience to operational excellence across the services provided by the cloud engineering team.
Responsibilities
Work on the cloud transformation projects across cloud engineering to provide automation and self serviceImplement automation and self-service capabilities using CI/CD pipelines for InfrastructureWrite and maintain Terraform based Infrastructure as CodeBuild Operational capabilities around the Cloud platform for handing over to Operations after releaseDocument and Design controls and governance policies around Azure platform and automate deployments of the policiesManage the end user collaboration, conduct regular sessions to educate end users on services and automation capabilitiesFind opportunities for automating away manual tasksAttend escalations from support teams and providing assistance during major production issues from an engineering perspectiveKey Requirements
Expert in Terraform with knowledge of other Infrastructure as Code tooling (one or more of Bicep/OpenTofu/ARM templates/Crossplane/Pulumi) Deep design, deployment and troubleshooting skills in Azure, especially App Services, AppGateway, NSG, Key Vault and Azure Kubernetes Services. Hands on experience in containerization – Docker & Kubernetes, Serverless Scripting (bash, powershell) and Python knowledge. (Knowledge of other languages will be a plus)Experience in Jenkins, Groovy script
Education and Qualification
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in IT automation with 2 years supporting Azure based cloud automation and 2 years of Kubernetes and DockerRelevant Azure Certifications

Role Overview:
The QA Automation Engineer with AI experience is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. This role requires expertise in automation frameworks, scripting, and leveraging AI tools to optimize testing processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.Integrate AI-driven testing tools and frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.Design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases based on product requirements.Monitor and report on test execution, coverage, and quality metrics.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases.Research and adopt new AI technologies and automation tools to improve QA processes.Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on automation best practices.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Document test procedures, results, and maintain comprehensive QA records.Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Relevant certifications in QA automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium, or similar) are a plus.Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.).Experience with AI/ML testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Test.ai, Applitools, etc.).Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
