About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer, GenAI/Agentic AI Engineer.


In this role, you will:

Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment effortsIdentify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environmentDesign, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview and analyse technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domainsPresent recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreementsExercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirementsProvide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

(Must Have) 2+ years working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform and its services) or alternate public/hybrid cloud and a proven track record delivering products with cloud services and cloud architectures at scale. (Must Have) 2+ years of experience with Python(Must Have) Strong years of experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases and conversational bots(Must Have) 1+ years of experience with Playbooks, Vertex AI(Must Have) Exposure to ADK (hands-on) and Voice AI(Good to have), LangChain and/or LangGraph is a plus(Good to have) Strong years of Contact Center industry experience with design, development, testing, integration with vendors, CRMs and business applications. Proven knowledge in one or more of the contact center sub domains such as: IVR/IVA, NLU/NLP, Real Time Omni channel Agent experience and customer journey, CX/AX experience optimization using AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning)(Good to have) Strong years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches (GemFire, Redis), Elastic Search technologies, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra or Mongo), Graph Databases, Public Cloud Marketplace services(Good to have),2+ years of Deep Domain Driven Design experience with cloud native Microservices designed and developed for massive scale and seamless resiliency, deployed on PCF/VMWare Tanzu, K8s or Serverless cloud technologies.(Good to have) Strong years of experience with automated testing frameworks for Unit testing for Java/Python and UI Micro services, Service Virtualization and Contract Testing, API Testing with Blazemeter/JMeter, WebRTC signaling and audio testing including audio quality, performance stress and load tests, and chaos resiliency automated testing for full stack, lower environment data conditioning and testing.(Good to have) Strong years of hands-on experience with TrueCD, DevOps with Cucumber, GitHub Actions,(Good to have) Experience working in Agile environment and product backlog refinement against ongoing engineering work, Agile at scale, conducting discoveries and process improvements to accelerate software development.(Good to have) Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tool Terraform and GitHub, understanding of concepts and familiarity working within modern IaC/EaC pipelines.(Good to have) Scripting and infrastructure automation, including Python/Go, Shell, Gherkin, PowerShell etc.(Good to have) Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers.(Good to have) Full stack application development is a plus.(Good to have) Ability to rationalize risk controls into policy outcomes.(Good to have) Should have good understanding of Network Security Experience and Enterprise Architecture and OWASP Security practices exemplified through previous projects.(Good to have) Strong years of real time low latency, front-end Web applications React, Redux, RXJS, Typescript, progressive Web Apps with responsive design with Rest APIs, real time eventing gRPC or Web Sockets using Micro front end architecture.

As an GenAI Software engineer, a successful candidate will be partner with members of an agile development team and stakeholders. Design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products.
