Wells Fargo is seeking a software engineer
In this role, you will:
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Responsibilities:
Build efficient and high performing solutions to meet the business requirements
Participate effectively in the entire software development life cycle
Design solutions to meet the business and strategic requirements
Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables that meet the objectives
Should be able to contribute actively to In sprint automation
Collaborating on production support escalations and EACO calls during India day hours
Collaborate with Product Managers, System Architects, Analysts and any other stakeholders as needed
Define & Execute the test strategy across the consumer banking applications
Mandatory Skills:
Core skills – 1 to 4 years Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring (Core, Boot, MVC, AOP, Batch), Web Services (REST, SOAP etc.), Kafka (streaming technologies), integration technologies, Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF), Microservices & knowledge on Oracle, NoSQL database.
Experience with GenAI tools, including an in-depth exploration of various LLM models, efficient utilization techniques
Knowledge in agent-based’ approach.
Strong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications, Design Patterns
Microservice development, Experience in Cloud application development, deployment
Strong experience in CI-CD process.
Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).
Hands on Experience in using BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber,karate etc)
Product & Design Knowledge - Experience with Product Development, Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably in design/development of customer facing large enterprise applications)
Experience in Consumer Banking or any complex middleware applications
API - driven development - Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON.
Experience with Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices
Hands on experience in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA tool.
Unit Testing (JUnit preferred)/ TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and deployment (Jenkins)
Good business communication skills in English

Desired Skills
Certification in Google/Azure Cloud, AWS Associate level / Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) developer, Container and Kubernetes experience.
Skills and Certifications:
Technical requirements include the following:
4 year or graduate degree in Computer Science or engineering
1 -4 years of hands-on software architecture, design and development experience
Experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, Web Services, Microservices, Cloud
Strong knowledge in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development
Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).
Certification in AWS Associate level / Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) developer
Work experience with SVN, Maven, GIT, Gradle, AppDynamics, Splunk etc. DevOps tools.
