**CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer position for our client.** **Location:** Remote **Duties:** + Design, develop, and maintain back-end services supporting data-centric, analytic, and cloud-based applications. + Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Architects to translate business and technical requirements into high-quality code. + Develop services related to data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning. + Build and support scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-based microservices that meet uptime and accuracy targets. + Participate in Agile, DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices. + Develop software using high-level programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, .NET, and C#. + Implement deployment automation and configuration management using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, and Terraform. + Create and maintain functional, technical, and support documentation. + Perform expert-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system investigations. + Communicate effectively with peers, technical leaders, and stakeholders across the organization. + Use prescribed guidelines and policies to analyze and resolve problems with a moderate level of guidance. **Skills & Experience:** _Required (3–5 years):_ + Experience with Agile software development methodologies and modern application development frameworks. + Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills. + Solid understanding of professional software engineering practices across the full SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. + Front-end development experience with React and React Native. + Back-end development experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Node.js. + Programming experience with .NET and C#; familiarity with Go, Python, or Java is a plus. + Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL. + Experience across Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems. + Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Visual Studio, JetBrains Suite, and Play Store Apps. + Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Experience producing and maintaining functional, technical, and support documentation. _Desired/Preferred:_ + Front-end experience with Angular or Vue. + Programming experience with JavaScript and TypeScript. + Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, CouchDB, or MS Access. + Experience with SSMS and SSIS. + Reporting and analytics experience using SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau. + Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). + Experience developing high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems. + Experience developing software in healthcare or other highly regulated industries. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. **Education:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldOR + Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with an additional two (2) years of relevant experienceOR + Two (2) years of experience coding applications or services in a high-level language (e.g., C, C++, Golang, Java, C#, etc.), including internship and/or professional experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00 to $73.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
