Software Engineer
Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software that interfaces directly with hardware. The role involves working closely with team members to support the integration between hardware, firmware, and Windows IoT applications using QT. Responsibilities + Design, develop, and maintain software interfacing with hardware. + Collaborate with team members to support hardware, firmware, and Windows IoT application integration using QT. + Work closely with Electrical Engineers, FPGA Engineers, and other disciplines to support the product launch of new devices. Essential Skills + Proficiency in C++ development. + Experience with embedded applications and real-time systems. + Ability to perform multi-threaded programming and debugging. + Experience interfacing with FPGA. + Familiarity with QT and desktop applications. + Knowledge of full product lifecycle development. + Experience in Agile development environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering. Work Environment The role involves working with a team of 8 engineers. The work environment provides opportunities to collaborate with Electrical Engineers and FPGA Engineers. The team supports the product launch of new devices, offering a dynamic and interdisciplinary work setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
